TRAINING PROGRAMME ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY AND PUBLIC POLICY ANALYSIS

The training programme will introduce the basics of Research Methodology and Public Policy Research, intending to orient the Public Policy Analysis interns of the Centre as well as other motivated persons. The scheme of the programme follows:
Day 1 – 19/10/2017 Thursday
Session 1: Orientation Talk
Faculty: Mr. Nithin Ramakrishnan (Asst. Prof. of Law, Chinmaya University of Sanskrit and Indic Traditions Ernakulam, and Fellow at CED&L)
Session 2: Introduction to Research Methodology
Faculty: Dr. Martin Patrick (Chief Economist, Centre for Public Policy Research CPPR, Kochi)
Day 2 – 20/10/2017 Friday
Session 3: Basic Components of a Research Write-Up
Faculty: Mr. Antony Dawson D’silva (Asst. Prof. of Political Science, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam)
Session 4: Introducing Public Policy Research
Faculty: Mr. Rahul V Kumar (Asst. Prof. of Economics, NSS College, Ottapalam)
Discussion and interaction follows each session.
